Digital Marketing; the basic building block to sell digitally and social media marketing is the sub root of digital marketing. In SMM (Social media Marketing), the main purpose is to sell products/services and do advertisements on social media platforms. The question arrives, what should be the right words for an advertisement to grab user attention.

The Great 'AIDA' formula
A-Attention: Grab the reader's attention
I-Interest: Develop their interest
D-Desire: Enlighten their wish as their need
A-Action: Call to Action with scarcity
If you are a book reader, a good caption, the storyline grabs your attention. Same with this case, a good headline grabs the reader's attention. The headline must be concise, descriptive with a minimum length of words, and start with a verb. For example, “Start to sell online”, “Best time to create an e-commerce store”.
Develop the interest of the reader using 4W & 1H - What, Where, When, Why, How. Ask a question like “How to create an e-commerce store”, to develop the interest and their interest to know the answer grab them to do Action. Show them their wish as their need. Provide them a simple way of how they can access you.
Call to action is the way provided by you to your
reader to reach you instantly. It can be the ‘Send Message’ button or ‘Buy Now’ or ‘Learn
More’ or ‘Book Order Now’ or ‘Contact Us’ or ‘Click Now’. Call to action
completely depends on the services you are provided.
Help your readers to take a decision at a spot by urgency. Create urgency to
show them that the offer ends up soon. It will generate a scarcity for the reader to
grab the opportunity on the first basis. Showing the exact time when will offer end also enforces them indirectly to make decisions right now.
